Sometimes in your late 20s you fall in love, get married, and have a baby. Sometimes you fall in love, discover you have an ectopic pregnancy despite your $800 IUD, get relentless BV because you paid good money for that IUD and are not using condoms, take an insane amount of antibiotics to get rid of the BV, end up destroying your gut instead, become increasingly moody, get dumped, and spend the following year bloated, constipated and alone.

A self portrait of artist referencing Bruce Springsteen's or Boss' iconic album cover from his 1984 album. The portrait reflects Americanization of the artist in the strength and ambition of a 'boss' combined with contradicting pressure of femininity and physical objectification.

Eat It or Beat it (2014)
A series of self portraits created from stills of a video of the artist receiving head. The video was a response to the "Looking for Mr. Goodsex" series where the artist consciously takes control of the camera, changes perspective, and creates a more direct relationship with the audience. It was also a response to a break up.
